We had a great time this past Saturday. Beautiful morning weather and the kids couldn’t have been cuter. Here’s a few from our “In the Pumpkin Patch” mini session. Mark your calendars for next year! This is sure to be an annual event.

And I even got to get a really special one for me. This is my son and his best guy friend. They are a month apart in age and have known each other since birth. It’s amazing how they have grown!

I can’t believe how this little boy has grown and he is ALL boy now. I love when my little Watch Me Grow kids come back every year on their birthdays. Check him out as he has grown over the last two years - Cooper.

We had a lot of fun early in the morning playing ball and eating fruit snacks. His little personality just makes me smile. Of course I do have a little soft spot for boys.

Bluebonnets Revealed {Keller Tx Child Photographer}

We had a good time last Friday night. The wind was blowing like a crazy, but we braved it, windswept hair and all. I wanted to share a few because they turned out so cute. It is amazing the difference in pictures within a half an hour of each other due to where the sun is in the sky – different “feel”, but I love them both.

If there is any interest in doing more next week before the bluebonnets fade away until next year, send me a message because I’m willing to host another Fields of Blue special.

I’ve really been into the color blue lately for spring. It’s so gender neutral and goes with everything and it just seems to make me want to smile.

This little one has been coming to me since she was born and has now just joined the Kids Klub which is three sessions throughout the year where we are working on an album to commemorate your child’s year. It’s great for older children as well because they get three unique sessions – one in the studio, one outdoors somewhere, and one of their choice (this is great to photograph something that they are into at the time or them in their room, etc).

I put this together for Ms Priss’s mommy and it is just too cute. These are 4 5×10 that can be placed on a shelf and the letters can be anything – initials, child’s name, whatever, but 3 to 5 of these are best.

Enjoy Kim and I can’t wait for you to see the rest of them!

Happy Valentine’s Day {Keller Texas Photographer}

One from a special Valentine Mini Session we had. This little girl makes me smile.

Things to do today:

1) Love on my family – make extra certain that they know how much they mean to me.

2) Write my husband and my son a “love” letter. This year, including a “5 things you may not know about” them list and write out their special attributes that I love about them.

3) Thank God for blessing me with this wonderful family. I don’t deserve it and I never will. His blessings and His grace astound me.

The weather has been absolutely beautiful. Flowers are still blooming AND we are getting some “fall” color – it’s a gorgeous combination.

Emersen has graduated from the Watch Me Grow program (babies 1st year) and is now in Kids Club. We decided to do her first session of the year outdoors and the day couldn’t have gone more perfect. Emersen, you are a joy and I so love watching you grow into a beautiful little girl.

The Boy, Age 5 {Fort Worth Child Photographer}

I love being able to take images of my son as he grows. But, if I’m being honest, WOW, can he be difficult at times. Today was such a day where I just wanted to pull my hair out while trying to get a good image. We came home from church and he just looked so handsome. Last year I started doing a yearly album of him, so we were due for our monthly picture for his “5″ album. So upstairs we go to my favorite natural light spot – the balcony – to pop off a few. It doesn’t help that it is 102 and we are both hungry for lunch. So between him pulling out the beanbag chair that he wants to use to sit on and him having his own ideas of what looks good – doesn’t he know I’m a professional LOL! – we do manage to get a few good ones. Whew! Until next month . . .

Going into First Grade and Already a Heartthrob :) {Keller, Tx Child Photographer}

I love photographing little boys. Maybe because I have one myself and I was a tomboy growing up – I don’t know, but they are so fun and are just who they are when being photographed. I have photographed Kaden a couple of times over the last year and a half and now he and his sister have joined my new Kids Club. This program is especially for people who want to document their kids year but don’t have the time and/or talent to scrapbook all the millions of pictures that we take of our children! 3 sessions throughout the year – a studio, at your home, a location of your choice. We are building an album for you and them to treasure. We chose Kaden’s first session to be indoors since it is so stinkin’ hot right now, but his next one is going to be him and his grandfather fishing over by their golf course. Oh, I so can’t wait for that!

Fun Outdoors – Keller, Tx Child Photogaphy

This past week we took Miss Emme and her big brother out for a couple of shots. Aren’t they adorable! And man that girl can move! I just love taking shots of Mr. Blake. He’s just so handsome and at 5, actually likes his picture taken. Imagine that! LOL. These two are always so well dressed in THE cutest clothes.

Stars Academy – Spring Pictures 2010

Currently, I only do one preschool’s pictures and that is Stars Academy in Grapevine. Our spring pictures are next week and I am so excited about this year. The theme for this session is “bring your favorite pal to school and be photographed together”. Now this pal could be your child’s favorite toy, instrument, stuffed animal, lovey, whatever. This really showcases who your child is at this moment in time. We are going very simple with a gray background, so any clothing choice will work perfectly. Let your child’s personality really show through!

Couldn’t resist getting my little guy in early. We had a lot of fun playing Simon Says and loving on his pal “Blue”. He has had Blue since he was first born and that little puppy doesn’t go far from his site. I LOVE that I have this picture to always remind me of their special bond.
