I received this wonderful email from a mom whose 3 children I photographed recently. It brought tears to my eyes for two reasons – it home with me in my own life and it also touched me that my "work" can so impact someone else.
Many thanks, Jennifer. I can’t get over it. Beautiful job! I was sad to leave the slideshow behind at your studio, so it was great to see it online – music and all. I didn’t expect that. After everyone was in bed, I logged on, watched it, and it was the most peaceful moment I’ve had in a very long while.
I’m so grateful for you and your work. This year has been a difficult one for us, so the portraits are special. When I was little, I can remember anxiously digging up seeds I had planted to see if they were sprouting. I hated that every day I was watering them, but unable to see them grow because they were covered in dirt. Today was humbling to witness how God has grown my children during this busy season of life. I’ve been preoccupied with soil and could have missed His magnificence in them. Thank you. . .
