A couple of weeks ago I had the pleasure of documenting a Marine commissioning ceremony up at the University of North Texas. Hunter's father and grandfather are both Marines and participated in the ceremony. Hunter had never seen his grandfather in uniform before. When his grandfather presented him the very same sword that was given to him so many years ago, I have to admit, I wasn't sure that I got any images of that through my own tears!
This was such an awesome experience. The men are all coming in this weekend for their formal portrait together. May I introduce Lieutenant Hunter Hayes . . .
